Dive Safari

Day 1: Departure from Brussels International Air Port to Johannesburg International Airport.

Day 2: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park 380km. Arrival at Johannesburg International Airport and after formalities such as money exchange, we board our luxury bus and depart directly to the Kruger National Park. We overnight in a rest camp in the Kruger Park.

Day 3: Kruger National Park. We rise early and do a game drive in our bus. Or for those who want to experience game viewing on a more exciting manner, a game drive in open safari vehicles can be arranged. Overnight in the same rest camp.

Day 4: Kruger Park- Sodwana 400km. We exit the Kruger Park at the nearest gate and head directly for Sodwana in Kwa Zulu Natal The road will lead us through typical Natal bush and mountains to where we will overnight at Swodwana. If in time we can have our first dive this afternoon.

Day 5: Sodwana. At Sodwana we will overnight for 4 nights and will experience 8 dives. The stay at Sodwana is inclusive of accommodation on a shared basis, dinner and breakfast, cylinders, weight belts and Kwa Zulu Natal Wildlife conservation fees.

Optional visits can be arranged to Duma Zulu, Zulu village nearby, St Lucia Estuary to view hippo and crocodile close up and even a day visit to Hluhluwe Game Reserve, the Home of the White Rhino.

Day 6: Sodwana. Day 3 of 4 days and dives.

Day 7: Sodwana. Dives all day

Day 8: Sodwana – Durban 450km. Early morning dive for those who did not complete their dives and then a rather long drive to the Aliwal shoal, but there will be frequent stops along the road, as well as in Durban. We will overnight at or near Durban.

Day 9: Durban – Umkomaas 250km. After break fast we drive along the Southern Sea Coast to Umkomaas. On arrival we check into our rooms and go directly to the sea for the first dives. We stay at Umkomaas for 3 nights and will have 4 dives during this period.

Day 10: Umkomaas. Dives and during these days we can do shopping nearby or visit the casino at the wild coast can be arranged as an extra

Day 11: Umkomaas. Dives and enjoying the sun and the beach.

Day 12: Oribi Gorge 105km. We depart from Umkomaas to Oribi Gorge t overnight in Oribi Gorge Nature Park.

Day 13: Oribi Gorge. White water rafting can be arranged.

Day 14: Oribi Gorge – Johannesburg 750km. We take the same road to Durban and then to Pietermaritzburg and the Drakensberg Mountain Range, and to Johannesburg International Airport. We will do last minute shopping en route.

General:

The tour includes all transport costs as indicated in the tour itinerary, accommodation on a sharing bases, all entry fees, pre arranged dives at Sodwana and Aliwal Shoal, all meals in the Kruger Park, at Sodwana, Aliwal Shoal and Oribi Gorge. The cost excludes the following: additional transfer, alcoholic drinks, laundry and telephone calls. Flight ticket is also excluded.
